About Lodge Farm Weddings
Understated beauty that only 200 years of history can create
Our beautiful family farm sits in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside, overlooking the White Horse of Kilburn, where Rob and Jen are the third generation to farm this land – and the first to get married here. We designed and converted Lodge Farm with our own wedding guiding every decision, creating spaces that prioritise couples’ needs over everything else – an experience that shaped everything we do now.
Breathing new life into historic buildings
When we returned to work on the family farm, we recognised the need to diversify. While we continue to farm crops and sheep, the beautiful old hay barns were no longer useful for modern agriculture, so we saw potential for something special. Rob was heavily involved in the conversation and worked alongside skilled craftsmen because three generations of farming had taught us that good things take time and honest work pays off.
We became the first couple to get married here, and that day changed everything. Our wedding was pure joy in a place that meant the world to us, surrounded by everyone we loved most. We soon realised this feeling was exactly what we wanted to share with other couples.

Meet the team personally invested in your joy
What began with Jen running every wedding has grown into a dedicated team including Kirsty, our Director of Weddings, and Will, our Bar Manager. While the team has expanded, we remain a true family affair: Rob and Jen personally show couples around the venue, Rob’s mum Caroline prepares the breakfasts and handles registrar coordination, and Jen loves seeing couples off the morning after, bidding them farewell as they head off on honeymoon or return home as newlyweds.
